A 60-second history of ice cream in newspaper cutouts and engravings, from ancient ice houses to the present day.

## How it was made

Tools: Claude Opus 5.5, Runway

Prompt: 860 words, shown to signed-in members on the page, free with an account.

### Process

Two tools with separate jobs: Runway, connected through MCP, made every image, and Claude Opus 5.5 handled the motion graphics and animation.

The creator's own prompt, quoted below, is a template: replace the parts in square brackets with your own length, subject and art style.

**The creator's own prompt:**

> Create a [60 second] motion graphic explainer video about [the history of ice cream from the inception, to present day]. All of the visual images should be handled by Runway, and all the motion graphics elements and animations should be handled by you. The art style should be [newspaper cutout / mixed media aesthetic] with a high degree of polish. This piece is for your portfolio, so make sure to make it great.

The prompt shown here was written afterwards from the finished clip, so it describes what is on screen.
